Functions and features

The 5G router for your mobile requirements: With the G3000-ELW 5G, you have the ideal companion for your operations. Whether you need a connection to the control centre or the Internet via mobile radio, satellite or WLAN - with the G3000-ELW 5G, you have the right partner at your side. The router offers emergency services high-speed Internet access from any location with extremely high reliability: Its 5G technology enables speeds up to 7 times faster than 4G. If available, the router dials directly into the 5G network and thus enables particularly fast transmissions. Otherwise, the device uses the widely available 4G/LTE standard.

The G3000-ELW 5G router already includes all the necessary components for vehicle installation. The supplied BOS kit includes a 5G universal vehicle antenna with standard FAKRA connections. This gives you the best reception in every situation - whether mobile radio, Wi-Fi or GPS.

The powerful Wi-Fi of the TDT router can operate in the 2.4 or 5 GHz frequency range and offers a throughput of up to 1299 Mbit/s via the Wi-Fi 5 standard (IEEE 802.11ac). The WLAN can be used both as an access point and as a client - depending on requirements. Multiple WLANs (multi-SSID) can be used to securely separate different networks from one another. Of course, the WLAN is also downwards compatible with the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n standards.

The MultiWAN Manager is the centrepiece of the router. All interfaces such as PPP and WAN connections as well as logical connections (e.g. IPSec) can be controlled here. The Connection Manager offers the option of realising any number of backup strategies.

While many routers can usually only handle one VPN protocol, the G3000 series enables several protocols. This allows customers to select the protocol that best suits their requirements (e.g. OpenVPN, IPsec, IPsec/L2TP or WireGuard).

The G3000 series from TDT already sets standards for quality and security with its outer shell, which you can literally touch with your hands. The housing is made of one millimetre thick Zincor sheet metal; this guarantees good thermal conductivity, strength and high stability.

To protect your network from attacks, a configurable, intelligent firewall is available, which can be customised to your own requirements using rules and scripts.

    The TPM chip is comparable to a permanently installed smart card. The TPM protects cryptographic keys; these can be generated, used and securely stored within the TPM. It offers protection against software and hardware attacks (physical manipulation results in the destruction of the stored keys). In addition, the integrated random number generator (RNG) provides secure number sequences as the basis for securely encrypted communication.
